My Doula Services
A doula is there to ‘mother the mother’. She becomes part of your birth team and is an advocate for the family as well as a source of information. During a free initial meeting we answer your questions while you determine if your doula is a good match. Topics covered include labor support, pain control and interventions. We also review comfort measures, help write a birth plan, and help prepare you for postpartum. During labor we will stay in frequent contact until you are ready to meet at your home, birth center, or hospital.

Unlimited telephone/text/email support throughout pregnancy

24 hour on-call availability two weeks before and after your EDD, along with a back-up doula in the event I’m not available

One postpartum visit within a week after birth to see how you and baby are doing, review the birth, and answer any questions you may have.​
